A Little History; My Origin Story...

Rachael’s relationship with the healing arts began as an infant when she received cranial osteopathy and acupuncture treatments to help resolve multiple complications surrounding her birth. She grew up steeped in an approach to healthcare that was centered on wellness and preventative care. Her father Dr. Brian Bouch is an M.D./Acupuncturist who founded a thriving integrative medical center in Sonoma County. As a child, she was accustomed to taking Chinese herbs and receiving acupuncture to recover from getting sick, and seeing the local osteopath for receiving pain and recovering from injuries. Her mother was a midwife in the 1970's, and later became a successful entrepreneur. She was a dedicated practitioner and teacher of energy medicine, and avidly pursued her own physical and emotional healing. Rachael learned by example, and crafted her own path- first as a professional musician & music educator, and later in the healing arts- merging the 2 streams of her parents life paths. The impulse for her efforts, wether with music or healing work, has always been to support healing and transformation.
Rachael has a history of working with Special Needs children, teaching music therapy in schools since 2003. She has worked with children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, RETT Syndrome, Downs Syndrome, blindness, hearing impairment, and other cognitive and physical delays. Her work with these children has been focused around music and healing. She finds tremendous joy in cultivating a safe and inspiring container for communication and self-expression with these children.

"During a session we work together to cultivate trust, respect and safety, inviting all parts of the self (physical, mental, emotional and energetic) to come forward and engage in the process of healing. In this way, we support a movement towards wholeness by resourcing the body’s innate wisdom, allowing it to return to balance, freedom and ease."
