Want to know how you can reduce inflammation, ease chronic neck and low back strain, improve alignment, strength, and even your breath? Come to a MELT Method Intro Workshop and experience changes in how your body looks and feels. The MELT Method is a unique self-treatment approach that uses specialized soft body rollers and small MELT Hand and Foot Balls that are designed to relieve aches and pains brought on by aging and active living. The MELT Whole-Body Treatment techniques are easy to learn, and will help you remain active, healthy and pain-free for life!
Learn how to:
· Identify where you have “stuck stress” in your body, a major cause of chronic aches and pains
· Use the MELT Hand & Foot Treatment, a unique indirect treatment for your whole body
· Improve your Body Sense and notice the changes as your body effortlessly finds greater alignment and balance - a perfect complement to yoga, pilates, and all exercise modalities
· Activate your own core strength and stability
·Use soft body roller to rehydrate the connective tissues of your body for greater mobility and ease of motion.
This workshop is right for those interested in tapping into the amazing healing potential your body already possesses.

You’ll receive your own MELT starter ball as well as handouts to help you practice at home. MELT rollers will be provided for use in class.
Class size is limited, so register early!

Note: Full participation in this workshop requires participants to be able to get down onto the floor and back up on their own. We sit on yoga mats on a hard floor to perform the hand treatment. We will also be lying on the spine using a soft roller. If you think you will be unable to participate fully, perhaps a private session would be the best place to start.

"My personal approach as an instructor is to guide you through the process of discovery, and into a deeper sense of physical connection... Listening with the utmost respect, reverence and care to the innate biological wisdom of the body." ~ Andrea McGinnis

Gyrokinesis® is an original, total-body conditioning method created by Juliu Horvath, the founder of the acclaimed Gyrotonic® Method. Gyrokinesis® shares the movement principles of Gyrotonic®, but the sequences are practiced on a stool or the floor (instead of using specialized equipment). Through carefully crafted exercise sequences composed of wave-like, spiraling, movements seamlessly flowing together with a focused attention on corresponding breath, Gyrokinesis® deeply works the entire body in a gentle yet invigorating range of rhythmic paces, creating both a dynamic and relaxed sense of functional, coordinated and supple strength. This circular, non-linear, ebb-and-flow quality of movement signature to both Gyrokinesis® and Gyrotonic® honors the natural, fluid, spiraled anatomy of the body. With roots in Yoga, Tai Chi, gymnastics, and dance, these unique, rejuvenating systems help to re-educate the body in developing a greater overall sense of flexibility, power, ease, and efficiency of movement. The smooth shifting from contraction to expansion throughout the entire body is emphasized, gently stimulating the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems, decompressing the joints, opening further range of motion, releasing and strengthening ligaments, & restoring balance to the musculoskeletal structure. The Gyrokinesis® method is practiced under the instruction of a Certified Gyrokinesis® Trainer.

Soundscapes Experiential Monthly Concert Series:
Sunday 6-8pm @ InBody Center (First Sunday monthly)
The vision for this series is to create a safe, supportive sonic space for people to rest into the ground of their own being, and to move or be in stillness with the music as they are called. I want to offer a unique opportunity to deconstruct the traditional concert set-up, and to treat this as an experiential event. The invitation is to allow the sounds and textures of the music to move within and around you, and to allow yourself to enter into a state of aliveness and authentic expressivity. Movement and meditation are welcome. Floor seating on cushions, or reclined on yoga mats, if space permits. (There are a limited number of chairs for those who need). Each month there will be live music & original compositions, offered by some of the Bay Area's finest musicians.

Concert Series Launch May 3rd 2020
